Could anyone give me instructions on how to add a photo to a new post?

you need to get a photobucket account then upload the photos you want on photobucket after that the pic should come up on your profile and it will have lots of codes under the pictures. you simply copy and past the IMG code onto the forum.

what he said! but of course there is a number of other websites you could use, the choice is of course yours but photobucket i also find is easiest to use, and its pretty quick to setup!
