How Close Is My Platy, Fellas?

She's been pregnant since I got her but her gravid spot is very dark lately and she's seeming pretty squared. Like another poster has said, mine also have a very fine thread of white coming from her aback area. Is this any indication? She okay to be trapped?

Also, her gravid spot is moving closer and closer to her birthing area.

Looking at her and enlarging the picture i would say anytime in the next few days , the darkening is the eyes of the babies

Ok, we'll I ended up letting her out that night because I didn't want to stress her too badly. Last night though, I just had a gut feeling it would be soon. I trapped her at around 10:30pm and went to bed. Woke up to 31 little ones! All healthy and all live.

My kids were super excited.

Fantastic , now you need to find somewhere to grow them on as that trap isn' going to be big enough for them all for much more than 10 days
