I forgot to ask you this when you posted this.Increase water movement, especially around the bottom.
Maybe an airstone or something like that?I forgot to ask you this when you posted this.
How do I increase water movement at the bottom of the tank?
What about something like thisMaybe an airstone or something like that?
A powerhead! That's the word I was looking for along with the airstone! Yes, powerheads should do the trick for water movement. What about something like this

airstone, powerhead or adjust the filter outlet so it aims towards the bottom of the tank.I forgot to ask you this when you posted this.

ok great. The filter outlet is not really doing enough so I think ill go with a powerhead.airstone, powerhead or adjust the filter outlet so it aims towards the bottom of the tank

I was thinking the same but I figured they were high flow speciesThis could be harmful to the fish though...what species are in the tank?
It's neolamprologus similisThis could be harmful to the fish though...what species are in the tank?

ok. So onc the plants grow larger, the problem will diminish? There is not a strong current, so don't overdo the water movement. In my opinion current is not an issue with cyanobacteria any more than it is with problem algae, but that is just my opinion for what it may be worth.
