how can i get my b/f to let me have more bettas

There was no way my fiance wanted me to get more bettas. I just slid it in by letting him get HIS own tank with the fish of HIS choice. You could try that. If that doesn't work, begging, pleading and making deals might work

And if that doesn't work, just do what the others have suggested, bring it home and see if he notices

I agree. Better yet, tell him you have betta fever. Tell him there is only ONE cure. Buying more bettas. Also tell him you can't do any horizontal tangoing until the betta fever is cured

red devil......sometime i agree but i thought you might like to know that the tanks on ebay were you buy one and have to have all 100.......well i noticed they were not sold and bidding had closed...so i have spoken to the person that owns them not that nick buy the way as its a female who owns them and i am having just ten from her have to go to Blackpool to pick them up but a nice day out Monday and only an hour away from me......so male can get what they want as well as im changing my filter i thought i might as well incorerate them as i can split them into three 8x12x12 that another 30 bettas........

true...have just pulled a young male from copper/black-gold/spawn he is going to be a cracker just two months so another month and he will be ready to either spawn or be sold will get some pictures on Sunday as working tomorrow.....infact there are three so far showing nice black...

If all else fails, just buy another one and say it was in poor condition, and it is non returnable. Always worked for me! Or you could do what I do with my 2 mice in the basement, buy them, and put them in a descrete location where no one will ever find them, unless they are really looking for them. My mouse cage is on the upper shelf of my basement, behind some boxes of stuff that's be there for years. I just moved a box from the center of the spread, and popped the mouse cage in it's place. The basement is heated, so they're ok. I take them out when no one is around. At least I can still enjoy them, but only for a few hours a day. It's been a year now and no one has found them.

This works extremely well.. that's how I got my two crowntails and one of my female bettas.
