How Big?

How big are female Betta's compared to male? One of my freinds says they're quite a bit smaller than the males. Is that true?

I have females that are more or less equal in size to my males though I don't know if this is typical???

my female is smaller than a dime and both my boys are huge!
i think my female is just a wee baby
generally females grow to be about the same size as males although males have longer bodies and long dazzling fins
it often gives the illusion that a full grown female is much smaller than a full grown male
they should all reach somewhere around 2"

The females only lokk smaller because the males have big fins, the bodies are the same size though

I have seen absolutely MASSIVE females, as in twice the size of males....but sooo ugly....sigh i need to find good females...which aren't butch.

depends on the fish, I've seen females that were definetly bigger than males and vice versa.
