my oldest Platy fry are probably three weeks by now, they were born Oct. 30th. they're all a bit longer than the fingernail on my pinky, are they big enough to go into the community? even if their parents and the Loaches can't fit them in their mouths, what about the ADF?

I would wait until they are about a full inch before putting them in

I say this because of the ADF (some are vicious when they see small fish)

My neigbour had 5 ADF and 2 small goldfish (babies) and the fish were killed by the ADF (clawed them)

I dont think loaches would be a problem because as long as they are fed well, they wouldn want to stress out trying to catch fry

they've been added in, and the only ones to pay attention are Mishka-Ishka (she keeps 'tidying up' her babies) and Hex (a bit jealous?) they're hiding in the live vallisnera, by the heater/filter intake and their buds. the frogs by the air stone trying to eat the bubbles, and the rest of the fish are too interested in all the new silk plants.

all in all it's going well ^^
