how big do betta's get?

hmm mine get fed once a day the same as my fish.. but its a varied diet, one day it could be flakes, another day it could be bloodworm, andother day it could be daphina...



wow i sound like a right bad person just givin them food once a day... but thats how iv always done it.. i dont belive in over feeding them and iv never given them anythin just for themsefls... algea wafers feed biggest part of my fish... i dont buy em just for one fish

wow....6-8? mine are still about as short as they were when i got them from the store, but they're husky.

is that a specific breed that grows big?

Yep, like annieka said, there's a species called the Giant Betta. This says only 4.7 inches which I think is off. I am sure they grow bigger...

Oh, and I only feed my fish once a day usually too.
