How big do Angelfish tank mates have to be?

I am thinking rosy tetra or rummy nose. I do like the idea of black widow but due to their size you can not put them with English is correct?

Rosy Tetra's can be fin nippers for sure, if you don't have enough of them (or enough) room. Rummy Nose are large enough (depending on size at store) that they'd probably be OK. How large is the aquarium? What are your water parameters?

I was trying to work out what you meant and figured it out. You must have said a naughty word and the language filter changed it :)

Black Phantom tetras are nice and deeper bodied than neons. Diamond tetras, Rosy and Bleeding Heart tetras are also deep bodied fishes.

Rummynose tetras are a similar size and shape to neons and should not be kept with adult angelfish.

No not that the stupid auto correct on the phone did that:mad::D..... so all those fish mentioned can they go with angelfish or not.

Yes, black phantoms, bleeding hearts, rosy and diamond tetras are all soft water fishes and have deep bodies so won't fit in an angelfish's mouth.

If you want angelfish with other small fish, buy a group of young angelfish and grow them up with the small fish. Then they will be less likely to think of the small fish as food.

If you have big adult angelfish and put small fish in their tank, they will probably think dinner is up.

I think I will go with black phantoms, bleeding hearts or rosy tetra. Thanks for the help;)

Yeah Angel's will eat rummynose.... I had that mistake

head and tail light tetras are borderline and should be ok if they grow up with the angels, but I wouldn't put the tetras in with big angels.
