I have just gone and pulled out the heater to look at it. Can't see anything wrong with it and my thermometer is reading exactly the temperature that my heater is set to.

I have had a thought of my own. I am wondering if she is unhappy with the flake food... which is what she goes most often. She wasn't flashing first thing in the morning, can't remember her flashing other mornings.... so I am wondering if it could be the food. My local place sells lousy stuff so I will order something different online.

Just wanted to update.... I have been feeding her the cheap flake food I could get right away (I have much better stuff on order that should arrive tomorrow or Tuesday) and it seems to be helping a lot. I've not seen any flashing yesterday or today and she isn't hovering that often anymore... so, a change of food seems to be helping. Hopefully the new one I have ordered will sit well with her since its a lot more expensive and better quality!
