Can a pair of Kribs be housed with a pair of Apistos? I have 2 Kribs in my tank and I'm thinking about putting 2 Apistos in there with them. Any advice?
May I suggest Keyhole cichlids instead, if you have the space? They're big enough to be a match for kribs (as long as you don't buy too young a pair), and peaceful enough to not terrorize the kribs. You'll see the keyholes and the kribs displaying at each other a lot, but for the most part they'll live together peacefully in a balance of terror.
I believe it is a 30g, as they are a larger fish. You shouldn't have a problem with the keyholes and kribs, but honestly I would add the keyholes first. As they are not an aggressive fish, and kribs are.
i had one female krib in with 4 keyholes in a 200 litre tank and she did nothin but harass them and chase them all over the tank even up to the top, the keyholes always had the stressful colour to them
