Death by Fish Tanks

This is my 40 gallon mini pond stock tank which contains my school of mosquitofish and some golden top minnows.

The last picture is of my ponds newest resident: a frog I named Hopediah.šŸ¤£

The hornwort looks great . Whatā€™s that floating plant ? I really wanted to do one of these stock pond tubs last year but didnā€™t
The stem plant is Bacopa Caroliniana. It floats until its roots reach the floor and it pulls itself down.

The rest is algae: the most important plant for most tanks with livebearers.šŸ˜

Pickerel frogs can be distinguished from Leopard frogs by their square-ish dorsal spots and the bright yellow wash on the inside of the hind legs. Itā€™s also noteworthy that Pickerel frogs exude fairly toxic skin secretions. Do not eat them.
