Horrible Brown ####

I've got some horrible brown stuff on my plants, is this due to over feedings? Is there an easy solution to it? I bought lots of shrimp but they got eaten

diatoms most likely. They're common in newish aquariums and typically go away after a few months at most.

Increased flow will help and there are some filters that will help take them out of the water column. Ottos eat it.

Generally though, it should go away rather quickly w/o much intervention.

i had same prob,i got a bn its done a brill job.i think it the best cat in the tank :good its just fab to watch
