Hornwort???

This may be a dumb question but is hornwort safe for bettas?? It seems quite rough to me but I may be over analysing!

Yes. I do not know of any live fresh water aquatic plant sold commercially that is not.

I have hornwort in my betta's tank, it is weighted down with a piece of wood. My betta likes to 'sit' among the stems and watch the world go by

I've never seen Errol doing anything other than swimming around - he never does that scary "looks dead but really asleep" thing - well not that I've ever seen anyway.

I have ordered him some hornwort and a few more amazon swords to sit in
