From my experiences cholla wood makes a nice planter for a variety of plants. And can help against the fish that like to dig up plants
First time using hornwort in it. I usually cut up the cholla wood into smaller pieces (drill out bigger holes if needed) if the center hole is large enough already a small ring is all you really need.
