Homosexual Platy

hi i'm new to this forum but was wondering if anyones heard of this before. I have a really beautifull male platy and haven't seen one quite like him before. hes bright golden yellow at the front fading to a bright fiery red at the back with blue green vertical stripes. i was hoping to breed from him and bought a few females, as well as a new mickey mouse male, whom he has paired of withand regularly ahem, "courts" him. Anyone else?

Male Platies will try to breed with anything. Most likely, the females are already pregnant, so he's seeing about the male. Nothing to worry about. Just make sure you have 2-3 females per male.
