Really? I was reading on them and couldn't figure out if they were the same or not, asked in chat and was told they are completely different. I don't know what to think anymore

There are two species of Apple Snail that are commonly called Apple Snail but one of them is also called Mystery Snail

 
So you have the True Apple Snails(Cana I think) which are one colour only, eat live plants and get HUGE!
And then you have the others which are the ones that come in all sorts of colours, don't eat live plants and get called both Apple Snail and Mystery Snail

Pomacea diffusa - Mystery Snail, Apple Snail that comes in multiple colours(Gold, Purple, Blue, Emerald, Purple Striped, Black, Pink)
Pomacea canaliculata - Apple Snail that eats plants and is Browny-Yellow.

Yea both apple snails grew to golf ball size before they died but at least i couldnt lose them the othet snails vanish for days then suddenly appear think they some type of elite navy snails

Oh i dont mind just i assumef only apple snails grew that size plus apple snails are harder to get now unless i find someone home breeding or order them online and find that alittle more expensive

Yes it is from public shops, you can still buy them from breeders

So ive brought some rabbit snails i know they hardly do anything but one has curled up is this normal
