Some days even my lucky rocketship underpants won'
Where I work there is a shop on the other side of our yard..where they work on the 18 wheelrer car haulers.
I personally don't go over there often, as I have no real reason too. But today I got a call so I took a trip down there.
What I found were 5 wet, dirty, cold, and hungry kittens. They appear to be about 5 or so weeks old...they still can't eat well or poop well on their own (so you have to help out).
What evidently happened is this momma cat started hangin around, the truckers fed her, she had kittens in the shop, the shop floods from time to time, the mother cat didn't move them so the truckers did, now mom wants nothing to do with them..plus she's wild and hisses at us...so forget her cranky butt I said..and we scooped them up and brought them down to the office. The kittens aren't wild a bit..they are very affectionate actually...already purring.
Pardon the "bedding" as that's all we could come up with today lol..we aren't set-up to house kittens .
We went down to the local supermarket and got some kitten chow and mixed it with soem water diluted goat milk til we can get some kittenmilk from the pet store. Poor things were so hungry and thirsty they didn't care..they gobbled it right up. We had some syringes and fed them some milk too.
We all have heaters in our offices (it stays so freakin cold in here you got to have one or risk turning into a popsicle ), so we put them in a box and turned the heater on to warm the room up for them.
I'm glad to say all are doing fine and we are starting to look for homes for when they are ready to be placed.
There are 3 girls and 2 boys...if anyone is interested that lives around here let me know . I think the funky colored one is already gone though.
SO here they are..I know you guys wanna see em' lol.
