I believe that if you ask your glass suplier what the tensile strength of the glass he suplies ...he should know it. If he doesnt know what type of glass you need...Then he sucks. As far as a frame goes. Just have one biult at your local frabrication shop. Steal is always strong enough. I know that I have never built a new tank before. But I have never needed a big tank. I just think your glass suplier should know what you need as there profesionals. And A frabrication shop should far exceed your request for strength. Just my opinion. Sorry if its wrong. And yes.. lol i do know that glass is pricey!
