Home Made Stands And Hoods

After reading a post about a home made stand I thought it would be cool to have everyone who has built or added onto theirs to post some pictures of them. Plus I'm looking for some ideas for the stand and hood i want to make for my 65 gal tank.

It does look better IRL than in the photo, and I may invest in another can of the stone effect spray paint I used.


It was my first attempt at DIY as I'm rubbish at it. But I'm quite pleased with the result, its quite hard to get hold of a stand that would look good on my landing.

Great work guys, here's a hood I made for my 4ft tank. I put 3 lights in with reflectors but only use 2 of them as its way too much!!











Be great to see more pice of peoples DIY skills - would give some great ideas to people as well.
