Well i got really paniced yesterday thinking two of my fish had whitespot (turns out they are actually males) now i'm worried lol, i keep seeing little eggs around the tank and think they are actually mating whoa this is crazy but cool may have some fry sooon watch this space. could be weird either gonna be chocolaty bronze or moorish orandary

incidentally does anyone know how many eggs a goldfish would normally lay and roughly the time it would take to hatch. thanks for any help

grats on your fish breeding. they will probably snack on the eggs unless you can move them out to a tub with a lot of aeration. as for how many they lay its down to age of female, can be in the tens or even hundreds.

Your fish will probably eat them up quick. If you want to have little goldfish, separate the eggs; you can use like a breeder net.
