So A Few Weeks ago I spawned My Pale HM Marble with a Cute little HM girl I found @ World Of Water.

So I decided to do an experiment with the fry. I had already set up established tanks for them.
HEavily Planted with Moss and Cabomba and Various Other Plants.
Azolla and Duckweed as floating plants.

Stocked the Tanks HEavily with Daphnia and kept them Fed very Well with Green Water and Spirulina (Great food for the Daphnia). Cyclops and Ostrocods.

Once Fry Were free swimming fed on Powdered Egg Yolk and Decap Brine Shrimp Eggs. Fed like this for Over a Week.

THEN NO MORE Feeds.

They have continued to grow well and I have not fed them for more than 2 weeks.
I can see them Hunting down the Daphnia and White worms that are all over the tank.
THe Growth rate of them is very Interesting, the fittest are nice and big at 5mm and the smallest @2mm. All Fry have full bellies and look very very good.
May do this with again with the next time i spawn a Pair.

Yeah Its working very well, Good job to as i forget they are there (on a window ledge behind closed curtains).

I noticed earlier that I have mainly White Fry, so will be interested to see what marbling occurs.

Caught a Few of the biggest ones and added them to the 1G with the shrimp and HF Male.
HE was curious to them at first but now ignores them. They Spend there time Swimming around exploring all the tiny hidey holes in the Moss Balls and Bogwood. They look almost Platinum in color in the Cube with Hues of Green and Blue, So Should be interesting to watch them grow.

Dunno what was with the HF, they have all Vanished now without a Trace from the tank.
Anywho, pix of some of the ones i put in the cube.

how old are they - they look pretty small

They are 4 weeks old now, I have been feeding them on the live food i culture. White Worms, Daphnia, Mozzies etc. Just add it in the tank every few days and let them eat it. I realise they are growing slowly, but wanted too see what difference a Diet of Live food only will do. They always have bellies full of food and are very healthy.

Still Growing steadily and still mainly white or opalescent.
Still Feed live, but have decided to start feeding with flake every few days.

I got some 2Gallon Jars from the Market and have put them in there,
This one Cooperated long enough for a pix to be taken
