Highest Ph And Gh For Clown Loaches?

What are the parameters of the water you keep your clown loaches in?



My tap water has PH 8 and GH 14 which is not very comfortable for clown loaches I've heard. So I try to keep them down with peet in my filter. Thanks to peet PH is around 7,5 and GH is 12... well, somewhat better. But I don't like this brown water at all....

I've been thinking maybe it's still ok to keep them in tap water? or not?

the loaches should be fine in the original conditioned tap water as long as u correctly ajust them.they would however also be fine in your current water.

You could get an R/O filter and put some of the water through that.

Or, you could just keep them at 8.0. I have found most fish are fine when things are ideal as long as everything is stable.
