I am looking for recommendations for a decent enough high output air pump with at least 6 airways. My budget is $60 or less. I need it to run a sponge filter in 100 gallons, a sponge filter in 75 gallons, a sponge filter in 40 gallons, and 3-5 8 inch air curtains/air stone strips.

I am looking at this one

is this output enough to suit my needs? Ideally I would only have one air pump, I have one outlet.

Get yourself a blower because they are way more powerful than any air pump and you can run dozens of lines off them. They do cost more but the amount of air they produce is significantly more than any normal air pump can provide.

This is the one I had and it ran a fish room with 40 tanks in, and there was plenty of air. I ported it too and doubled the airflow but it also made more noise :( You can port most air pumps. This is done by drilling the holes a bit bigger in the air chamber. It allows more air to flow through the pump and they run cooler and produce more air. The dwarback is they make a bit more noise.

If you get a big pump/ blower, you make a loop out of 1 inch black poly pipe (irrigation tubing) or white pvc pipe. The loop is joined to the pump at one end by a piece of flexible hose and some hose clamps, and the air is pumped into it and circulates around the loop. You drill holes in the pipe and attach screw in taps and put the air line on the taps.

I put hooks up around my room and the pipework has held in place by the hooks that were located near the ceiling. The airlines dropped down to each tank.

For outdoor use, make a loop and run it along a wall or fence and tap into the pipework for the airlines.

A blower is just a big single outlet air pump, but they push out a lot more air.
