My question is: Can I put my two clown loaches, also tiny in this tabk as well. Will this tank be too crowded eventually once they are all grown? Someone said in a previous post that clowns are active-not my lazy little guys. All they do is sleep, hang out, eat, and hang vertically in between the side corner of the tank and the bubble bars. They are really cute. When I go to bed at night I shut the lights off and out on this interior blue grren lazer light inside the tank. Thans when they come alive. They seem to love it-or maybe it's driving them crazy?
I think a bigger priority is making up the schools of the fish you already have. If possible, you should have 6 each, minimum, of all the schooling fish. This includes corys, ottos and white clouds. Neons, being very small, are best off in a school of at least 8-10 fish.

If you make up your schools you'll see more of your shy fish, particularly the corys but you wouldn't have room for some clowns as well. Clown loaches are schooling fish too, but because they are so large people often just have a group of them (3 or 4). This is OK provided you have plenty of cover for them (schooling fish only feel the need to actually school when under threat) but you might see less of them.

You could temporarily put your clowns in there to clear any snails you may have - if you could lend them to me for that purpose, I'd be eternally grateful ;)

hi and welcome to the forum. not much to add really ,if you like gouramis and want a nice display fish, the pearl gourami is the one to get in my opinion. if you get a male and a female they would be more than happy.the male can show some superb colouration and they get on very well with neons.the more neons the better they love being groups. good luck with your tank. :) pebbles
