hello everybody, a 'friend' suggested I come to this site so I may know some of you (if I do I apologise for it B) ).

I have just bought a jewel vision 180 and hope to use this forum to help me stock, and run it.

Welcome Bacon, Lettuce and Tomato! :p

Will it be a planted tank?

If dimensions sufficiant, 1 Male Agassizi Dwarf Cichlid, 3 females, assorted Catfish (corys, bristlenoses) and tetras, or a mixed Rainbow community would be cool with Khuli, Clown and Skunk Loaches for the bottom. Vision 180's are pretty roomy aren't they?

welcome blt, to the house of fun lol  enjoy your time here

hi there blt

enjoy

Im sure we will give you ideas for the tank, have you any other fish/tanks

whacky

thanks guys/gals for your welcome.

yes the tanks will be planted and will be moving my pair of silver dollars, guppies and golden barb to the new tank. Roomy? I'll say it looks good empty. Oh, and I treated myself to an interpet prime20 external filter too. I plan to add a shoal of neon tetras (my lfs had some pretty green tetras)another pair of fish and some bottom feeders

690 litres an hour, 20 watts, 3 litre filter volume.

i need a small extenal for a 2ft tank anyone any ideas!

am cleaning my gravel tomorrow  , is the best way to put it in a bucket (in the garden) and just let the hose run?

i empty the bag in a buket and fill it with water let the tap run and just put my hand and rummage around till its clear then start over again with more gravel takes about 10 mins for 6kilo bag!

6kilo bag! I gotta do 36"x 18" to depth of 3" got tons of the stuff :(
