But anyway, hello. Twenty year old music student here, live in sunny Bournemouth. Just bought my first tank, an Uno 500 (8.2 uk gallons, 500 x 250 x 300mm...I could've just said "It's little", couldn't I.) I've already stuck a 14 inch nuclear submarine in there. Hopefully there'll still be room for fish.
Really glad I found this website. Only got the tank yesterday and would probably have filled it with silver sharks already if I hadn't read the advice. Am gearing up for a month of fishless cycling (once I work out where I'm supposed to aquire ammonia from).
