You are right, I am trying to get through the 6k responses to the "Word Association Thread". I am almost there; I just didn't want to think that I might have missed something important.

Wow! I’m surprised that so many people say that I take good photos! In another forum I’m in the pictures I post on contests are always one of the last! I definitely will try participating in contests! Do I need a certain post count to participate in them?

I think they are koi bettas but not very sure! I got the first one from a private breeders and most of the bettas he had looked at least somewhat similar to mine. Second was just from my LFS. Both weren’t labeled so I didn’t know!

You can just crack on with it right away. Voting for this month's contest ends on Saturday.
My own aquascaped tank is among the entries.
I too must say that the photo's you took are really good. Most of my own stills tend to be blurs as fish swim past.
However, as my main tank (the TOTM entry) is on livestream from the link in my signature I can sit and watch it from whatever coffee-house I find myself in while on a day out.
I actually fell asleep one day while watching it in a Starbucks.
