Hi everyone im new to fish keeping and im getting my first tank in 2 days its a secound hand tank

i want to keep cichlids in it like the yellow labs
what other type of cichlids could i use and how many of each type
also i dont think it comes with a substrat so what would you recomend

Hi barryg, welcome to the forum.

I'm going to add a couple links for you to check out and move this to the Old World Cichlid section as that seems to be what you are interested in, great choice by the way.


Beginners Resource , lots of good links in there with important information for a new aquariast.
