From the data sheet, it looks like pure ammonia, but I'm not sure. If it was me, I'd wait for someone with knowledge of products in the UK to answer, just to be sure. Unfortunately, I've never had to do a fishless cycle. All of my tanks are clones of my old tank. I just got a 75gallon and was concidering doing a fishless cycle, just so I could say I've done one, but I'm not a very patient person. Cloning has always worked for me. By the way, Great job on doing your research before you get fish!

Thanks, yeah i wasn't 100% sure after reading the data sheets so just want some knowledge of a few people on here before I put it in. Im not a very patient person either but I don't want to put fish in when its not ready for their sake and for the sake of my wallet!

p.s. You might want to start looking into some crushed coral. In a few weeks you will more than likely have a big pH crash. (this is normal for fishless cycle) Crushed coral will keep the pH up to where the bacteria like it

Hi guys, just a quick question.
I am now a week into doing my fishless cycle and after adding my first amount of ammonia i now have a rating of 0 ppm. Now to get it up to the required 5ppm at the start i added 56 drops to my tank. I am following the guide on here and it now says to raise the Ammonia back up to 3-4ppm and wait to fall to 0 ppm again. My question is how do I know how many drops to add this time? Do i do the same method as last time which was take 10 liters of water out of the tank and add Ammonia till i get the required ppm, or do i do it another way?

Hopefully that is understandable! Any advice and help would be brilliant, thanks
