Hi.
Been using this great forum for a couple of weeks already posting and getting advice in the New Aquarium section (fishless cycle almost complete for my 100 litre community aquarium!). Just thought I'd say hello and introduce myself. It was my son's fault; couple of years ago he wanted a pet (in addition to our labrador), so we set up a small 20 l cold water aquarium with 6 white skirt tetras. They're all doing fine still, but now I've got the bug, and bought a 100 litre tank, set it up, did a huge amount of fishless cycling research, and started the cycle using ammonia dosing just over three weeks ago. Tonight I had my first zero nitrite reading, so very excited that I'll be transferring the tetras over to the new tank very soon and adding some corys (my son loves them, already thinking of adding a sand area for them), a shoal of cardinal tetras (my wife loves them), a couple of platys maybe and some shrimp.
I posted my daily cycling data chart on the New Aquarium section, would love some confirmation that I'm reading data correctly and that I'm just about done, ready for fish after the big water change!
Will post some pics once I have some fish in the new tank!

Hey, i agree gets very addictive, bought the misses a biorb last christmas, within a few months i took over it, then bought my own tank, now shes buying me a 110L this xmas ha.

Once you start, you can't stop! Take it from a reefkeeper, its more addicting!
