My name is Paul and I have kept fish for 28 years since I was 9.
My main interests now are Danios and I also keep endlers and green Swordtails.
I only have 2 tanks, a small one with the endlers and older fry and my main 18x18x18 tank which I keep my Danios and Green Swords in.
My stock is as follows, numbers approx:
1) Danio Abolineatus (2)
2) Danio Kerri (10)
3) Danio Roseus (3)
4) Danio Rerio (1)
5) Danio sp Goldring (1)
6) Danio Kyathit (3 spotted 4 striped)
7) Danio Nigrofasciatus (19)
8) Danio Choprae (10)
9) Danio (Devario?) sp Hikari (1)
The only true danio I dont keep is Danglia because it is too big. AFAIK Danio Feegradei is a synonuym of Danglia)
Plus I have about 50 fry some with the endlers and baby swords, others in a small fry tank. I dont know what they are as I breed the danios in the community tank. Partly because I have a lot of plants and cant catch them without causing chaos and partly because they are happier and breed more often in the communirty tank. I harvest the eggs and fry from my eheim power filter.
My main claim to fishy fame is having photos of (long deceased) pearl and Kerri Danios on the Fishbase site. (dont use the email address there it is wrong - it will be updated soon I hope)
