Condition more important than colouring/variety.

I don't know where you live but my sister and I have both acquired hi fin lyre tails from Dobbies Garden Centre which is a bit dodgy but all 4 are alive and well and I'm hoping mine will breed soon

Thanks for the reply, I live in Yorkshire - but I think it would be almost impossible to find suitable fish locally - so when I find the fish I want, I expect to have them delivered by courier - I can arrange this.

After keeping/breeding swordtails for several years I now think it best to only buy "home bred' fish - so please let me know when you have some fry

In the meantime is it possible for you to let me see a photo of your hi fins ?
