if you don't know checkout the pinned topic for types (see sig)
and then we can tell you if 30ltrs is enough space for the fish.

BTW :welcome: to TFF

thanks for the advice the goldfish i think is the common goldfish not completely sure as we got it from pets at home a year or so ago and was told they only grow to 5-6cm which ours has reached in the year.

a quick question about my female guppie she has taken to staying in 1 corner of the tank right at the back she's normally with all the other fish, is this a indication of her about to give birth to fry?

yeah in my experience it is Good luck. Also, you probably had babies before but they got eaten so u never saw them.

Hi, this post is very informative; however I would like some specific information. If someone can help me then please send me a private message. Best Regards,

Hi everyone  thanks for all the advice, I was woundering if i use a breeding net/box for pregnant female guppies at what stage should i put them in the box/net? as the last female guppie i had that had fry (my black and yellow female) seemed to be chased endlessly by my young male in the few hours after giving birth and in the end it was too much for her, i would hate to lose any more of my females! so advice would be much appreciated as i've just noticed another female that is gravid now!

thanks i'll have to watch my female guppies and learn to tell when their ready then think i'll probably have 1 that will be ready in a week or 2, as she's got a really dark gravid spot but isn't really that big yet! i love keeping guppies their so colour full and so many different colours as well

Hello Everyone, Have had various types of tropicals since being a young kid, now old lady, lol. At this time am enjoying owning 4 beautiful male betta's of varying colors and quality although they are all beautiful, friendly and very enjoyable.

Looking forward to being here and learning. Yes they each have their own beautiful home with live plants
