Hello to everybody on the site. I've been been looking at the site for a while (loads of good advice), yet until today never quite got round to registering. So here I am!

I've got a planted 70L/16gal. tank with 5 albino Bronze Corys, 6 Neons and 1 Angelfish.

When I had 6 corys (1 male, 5 females) I had many spawnings, but unfortunately the fry never lasted much more than a week or two.

Strangely, even though the male has died and I'm left with only females, I still get occasional spawnings (though the eggs look 'empty' and ofcourse don't hatch). Is it normal for females to have these 'false spawnings'? I suppose I should probably ask this in the catfish forum.

Hello Cory Keeper, welcome to the forum. Really glad to see another person who loves cories. They have become my favorite, but dont tell the rest of my fish, dont want any jealousy in there
