Been following the forum for a while now when looking for advice and thought its time to register.

Here’s my tank- 450l -
30 various malawi cichlids
Plecs and African dwarf frogs

Eheim external filters
Programmable LEDs

Is the light simulating the moon moving across the surface throughout the night? Too cool if so. Just wondered since only the 1 side is lit up in the darker pic

Lights are crazy now. Way different than when I was a kid with a couple newts. My old roommate has one that simulates lighting for a thunderstorm. The one I got simulates sunrise/sunset with brightening/dimming.

As these guys grow up give them lots of hiding spots, caves etc. It will help to take some of the tension out of the tank.

Yeah it’s programmed for moon and cloud movement.

I’m planning on making some rockwork this weekend, plenty of caves and hidey holes.
