Hi all, my name is Bryan and although not totally new to fish and aquariums, I'm still learning quite a lot. I started with one male beta living in a beta hex tank, then got another, and then got a third. That was a year ago. Then I bought a 33-gallon show tank that when on it's pedestle is taller than I am. HEHE! My mistake with that tank was I had five gold severums and two sharks as its occupants. Needless to say, my lack of experience and knowledge caused ich and eventual death of all of them. So I started all over again with three baby Gold Severums. As of yesterday, they turned four months old and have been growing right along. I found that the older and larger they became, the more aggresive they became. Along with that, I found out that a 33-gallon tall show tank was totally the wrong choice for these fish. SOOOO - this morning I moved them to a new 75-gallon tank. I love the tank and for now the three Severums will be its only occupants.
I have bunchs of questions - but will save them for the forum. I LOVE having the fish around and I love the new tank!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
See ya all in the forums!
