Thanks!
There will be tons of pics! I can't wait! This has absolutely made my day! :hyper:
I go look at them every few minutes...

They must like you and their new home.

If they are anything like their parents, you will be very busy egg picking. Do you have 2 females?

Great! :good: That is good news to hear. They must really like your tanks. My cories do not breed in my tanks, though if they did, I'm pretty sure between Angelfish, tetras, and cherry barbs, the chances of eggs going undiscovered are virtually nil. I also suspect that my water is just too hard. I've got great pH, good kH, my gH is terrible. But enough about me.

llj

So far I 1 female and 1 male that are spawning. The rest of them are ignoring them. I cant tell them apart yet. They aren't big enough. I will have to wait until they are bigger or I catch them spaqning to see which role they take.
I haven't found any more eggs yet, but they are still dancing. I am keeping an eye on them.
The main problem is going to be that there are tons of eggs in the fry tank. It is going to be hard to know which is which once they start hatching. It should be pretty obvious once they grow a little though. These will be the only albino ones.
I am still waiting to see what the latest eggs are from the other tank too. I have 3 knind in there, and I am not sure which ones left the eggs that I picked out yesterday. I think they are aeneus, but I can't be sure. :shifty:

I have corys spawning in 3 different tanks right now. They have gone nuts! :hyper:

Me, too! Oh, no, 4 tanks actually. Very nuts! And the C.suessi are dancing again this morning with the pandas and the duplicareus. I just hope I can figure out where everyone is putting their eggs. And they are so intent on the dance that instead of hiding when I come in the room, they are dancing harder and come up to the glass and dance in fron of me! haha

I got a better recommendation for breeding traps. I will post them when I get to ordering them. I will have some more off time for a week, so I will get to some stuff--God willing!

Cool!
Guess what we have... :shifty:
2 little white dots! :hyper: They just hatched! :yahoo: :bday: :- :yahoo:
I think that was a little fast wasn't it? There are 3 eggs left. 5 was all I managed to find.
I can't wait to see the others. I really hope all 5 manage to make it.
I know the chances are not very good though.
I wish I could get a picture, but they are just too small. I hope to get some soon though. :hyper:

Yeah, I think those eggs have been hiding from you for a few days.

Or you have little elves, who come in and sprinkle fairy dust at night!

Thar's so awsome! I meant to tell you, you can't mistake the albino fry. You must be really pumped!

I am so excited... I can't sleep! I have tried 3 times to get pics. I would try again, but my batteries died. I have to wait for them to charge.
They were dancing for a couple of days before I found any eggs. I figure they must have been from the first day. That would make them 4 1/2 days to hatch. I know that 2 of the eggs are only 2 days old, but the other one could be anywhere in between.
They really stand out on the black sand, but they have to move to find them any way. These are even smaller than the others were. They are so cute though! I am in love already... :yahoo:

Looks like that new acclimation guide works pretty good, along with your good care. Who needs black worms?

I have by the way put my regular and albino LFs together, and I am getting a good mix of both. Of course I have male and female of both.

I am glad you are enjoying them.

As to the moss and algae. Best, since llijdma is sending you some, just boil the wood, then dry it out. If you want to make double sure, dry it out, and then test it in some water under some light and be done with it. Sorry about the inconvenience.

As far as the LF pics. I have found them exceptionally difficult to photograph--especially on black sand. They reflect lots of light and the long fins look really spidery. A group feeding pic looks really etherial. The cuteness just doesn't translate well, at least for me.
