Hey im taylia jayne (Tay-le-ah)
im sixteen and i live in plymouth and im autistic
im new, and absolutely obsessed with fish

i have a 30 litre tank where i have fry from my livebearers.
and i have a 37 gallon tank with lots of tropical fish in.
and for xmas i'm getting a 6ft fish tank to have red tiger oscars in (can't wait)

Thanks for the lovely welcomes, here are some pictures of my tanks.

37 gallon tank. no more fish is going in this tank! as over crowded

In it;
2 african dwarf frogs
4 orange fined loaches.
2 neon tetras.
2 true rummynose tetras
25 diamond tetras
2 black neon tetras
3 black skirt tetras
2 black phamtom tetras
1 other tetra (which i don't remeber the name of)
1 dwarf gouramis
2 blue gouramis
2 moonlight gouramis
2 gold gouramis
3 angle fish
8 guppies (fry i have rasied)
around 15 red wagtail (fry i have rasied)
around 15 mickey mouse fish (fry i have rasied)
2 albino corys
2 panda corys
4 Golden Tuxedo Platy
1 swordtail
1 pleco
1 other type of catfish (cant find the name)
3 tiger barbs
1 rainbow shark



30 litre baby tank

in it; 25 Golden Tuxedo Platy (fry i have raised)

Just looking at your plans for your new 6ft tank.

Be carefull what chiclids you put with those oscars.... I have a 6x2x2 which has 2 huge oscars, unfortunately they rule the tank, and annoy the crap out of everything else. There a right handfull, they dig up any plants i put in, and carry the gravel around the tank to where they want it lol. And they bite me!!

(Think my ones just suffer with adhd tho!)

I have 3 large golden severums with my guys and they tend to take alot tho so i reccomend some of them.

my uncle used to have them and i have done weeks of researching and watching videos on them
i think i might just do that, get some golden severums, they look very nice, thanks for telling me about them.
but when i buy my cichlids i will research them first and i'm meeting up with the fish shop assident that i know very well. as soon as i get the tank, and see what fish with live with oscars.

Hi Taylia

I also live in plymouth, am interested to know where you get your fish, i really like tamar aquatics near saltash at the moment, its great for saltwater fish, i always ended up at empire when i had freshwater, its a good shop alltough a little expensive when compared to others, good luck with your new tank and make sure you post pics from the start
