Hey Guys Bp Compatability Question.

hey guys, it's been a while since i last posted, small question though, would 3 blood parrot/convict hybrids be ok with a african brown knifefish and 2 firemouth cichlids? my friend recently got the blood parrots, but he's convinced they're dyed, so he doesn't want them . . . . so i gonna take em' off his hands. they're not dyed, but he won't listen, he's either gonna give back to the fish store or to me, and well, my tanks pretty boring with my 2 meeki's and my knife.

i think the bp would be ok with the fishes, but it always depends on the personality of the fish, every fish is different
i think its best when all the fishes go into the tank at once so they start fresh and have to become friends with another.

if you're talking about the 29g tank.. all those fish grow too big for a 29g tank.

I see about the brown knife going into another tank.. parrot cichlids will grow to around 8''... so 29g is too small... if you were to move them to your 55g it would be better, but you'd probably run into problems with the neons and guppies.

it's temp, i'm moooore than aware they get big. lol. all the fish in the community tank are being taken out and spread around my family's various fish tanks. but this is as soon as they out grow it. it's a nice little temporary home though.

The DP's could easily go in the 29g and then move the one's in the 29g to the 55g?
