And more importantly where do you get them.
I've seen pictures of some of your fish rooms and can see that there are a variety of containers available. The breeders I got most of my fish from use 32 oz clear deli cups.
With google I've found about a zillion sites with various contaniers but the ones i like best are 1/2 gallon from here

So where do yall get your jarring cups from??? Is 64 oz an OK size? what age to they need to be in something bigger? How much is average to spend per jar?

This is my last thing I need to line up ... I've got starter pairs, tanks, filters, heaters, a whole room dedicated to the project, live food cultures, new shelves, and a husband who doesnt mind as long as they stay out of the living room.

THANKS :fun:

PS: my 2 gal betta kits will be on ebay by sunday night if I can get everything figured out ... wish me luck!!

I prefered beanie bean box but now I like one gallon plastic cd container from walmart. Now I prefer 4 to 5 gallon plastic container from walmart too. Those are for filling container. :) So far I got 4 of them and they are been used for my sellection blue babies hm for competition. LOL :) Need to up grading to 40 next month hopefully. That is why I am delaying my barrack build because I am thinking of shifting to bigger container than beanie bean jar. Might do both. The 4 to 5 gallon container has plenty of room for the hm to swim and they need to maintain the flow to make their fins go straight. :) They looks so much better now after been there for 5 days. :) Whoever doing hm, bigger is always better. :hey: :hey: :hey:

Mason jars, beanie boxes/tubes. Boxes and tubes you just have to look out for, jars I get at the DI, but I don't know if the DI is a Utah only thing.

well the closest costco is about 2 hours from here ... the lucky thing about that is that its where my dad lives and he is a member !!! :p I'll have to send on a mission for me.
So that will get me started. I may still get some of the larger cups from this site because they are so clear and nice looking and large.

Those cups you linked to are awesome! I'll order some of those for when I move next year to keep my bettas in until they get to their new home :D

I don't know what I'm going to use yet actually, I was just planning to go to Walmart and buy some cheap, ~1 gallon containers. They have lots of plastic food storage containers with lids that are really freakin' cheap and would work beautifully.
