He's Bubble Nested

mine built one last night to and it was about 20 by 15 cm it covers half his tank but it got destroyed when i did a water change i dont think hes to happy with me

the same thing happened to me!!
my sabastian bubble nested the night after he got home with me
then i had to clean his tank and he hasnt made one ever since

my betta is making another one now but gets in a mood with me when i go near the tank and gose and sulks in his cave i think he thinks im going to break it again lol

i have a betta that has been sick, clamped fins, ripped fins and he still builds crazy bubblenests regardless. weird, idk why he does it. im not sure if nests are actual signs of their physical health, maybe it just means their content even if they are sick

Ive had Midnight for about 3-4 months now and he hasnt bubble nested yet. He shares his tank with 4 panda corys. Does this mean he is unhappy? Or does it mean he doesnt want to build one in case the corys destroy it?

Some males don't build a nest until they see a female or a female is added to the tank its personal preference of individual bettas.
