I have a 33 G tank and here's what i'm planning to put in it:

2 clown loach
1 leo plec
2 Dwarf Gourami
2 cory
6 Blood fin Tetra
1 Angel fish
2 German Blue Ram
1 white tip catfish shark
2 krib
1 Red tail shark or a rainbow shark

what do you guys think?

I would say go with either the rams or kribs But not both as a mating pair they need a 20 gallon tank per pair.

Also you should check the max size on the sharks I think you will find they get to big for your tank and they grow rather quickly, also some sharks do not go well with sharks of a different type and some require groups to do well socially.

The clown loaches also will outgrow your tank as they grow..

minus 1 pr kribs or rams andminus the sharks I still think you may bre pushing the limit, but ill stop there.

For the kribs and rams i'm only planning on having 2 males and not breeding them.
Hey phoenix would 1 of each do well cause i was only going to get 2 of each so they won't be lonely and inactive. Sharks, i'm still debating on it, i'll probably just get one. thanks for the advice though  :D

i think sharks prefer to have more than one in a tank.
im not to surea botu red sharks but i have 2 bala sharks and they love each others company.they are never far from each others side.

my only problem with them is that they are getting to big fro my tank :(
so im going to have to give them back the the lfs, and get something else.

Waaaaaaaaay overstocked IMO.

I would go with either the Clown loaches OR the Cories, but not both as they are both bottom feeders.

If you want an Angel, don't get a shark - the Ruby Shark can be very terratorial, and i have had my Angels fins nipped by my Ruby Shark before.

So, I would go with

1 Plec
3 Clown Loaches
2 Dwarf Gouramis
2 German Blue Rams
6 Blood Fin Tetra

And some plants

But this is just my suggestion.. :p

well bro I see you got more feedback the more I look at your list the more im falling into agreement with NeilP s list of fish for your tank. Just our 2 cents worth but hes list looks about right to me. But only if you are planning on a bigger tank in the future the clown loaches will out grow your current tank in time..if you have no plans on another tank I think go with the cories instead i believe they stay small someone correct me if im wrong on that..

Thanks for the replies guys  really appreciate it. I'll probably drop out on the sharks and get an angel cause my dad wants to get one(He liked the one i have before, but it died :( ).

Note that clown loaches will get very big and will eventually outgrow that tank. This will take a while though, so if buying a bigger tank is a possibility later, it's ok for now.

Just to add a little...if you are gonna get cories make sure you get a group of 4 or more. They like to school just like the clown loaches.

Tiff

>>> i think sharks prefer to have more than one in a tank.

Bala sharks are a schooling fish, but most of the other fish that get the "shark" moniker hate the sight of other members of the same or related species and there can be total warfare. Even completely unrelated species that "look like" another shark can cause the territorialism to arise.

>>> Some of these 'sharks' (which are actually just catfish)

The freshwater "sharks" are Cyprinids, not catfish. Same family as Barbs, Danios and Rasboras.

Thanks for the advice guys  . I'll base my list according to NeilP so here's the final cut :D
1 Plec
3 clown loach
1 Dwarf Gourami(If it would go well by itself)
1 krib
1 german blue ram(or another dwarf Gourami)
6 blood fin tetra(which i'm using to cycle the tank)
1 angel or red tail shark(they only grow up to 6")

And BTW i'm planning to put some tiger or green tiger barb on my 10 G with 2 cories? how many can i put in there?

won't the angel fish eat the tetras?

I have 6 small albino barbs and 4 med tiger in my 15gal.

I clean the tank 2x wk: One 25% H2O change and one 25% while cleaning gravel.
