Nice simple cave at the right hand side of your tank , like tanks with lots of space in them, I tried a planted tank once, turned into a jungle.... Nice tank :good:

I was just wondering...is the stocklist in your profile correct? I like the cave and piece of wood...but aside from that

3 parrots
5 molly
3 Silver Dollar (Tank only just big enough and not a large enough group)
3 Kribs
2 Comet Goldfish (Better to keep them in cold water as they don't live as long in tropical conditions, they are also extremely messy)
1 Sev (Tank not big enough long term )
1 Cigar shark (Is already too big for that tank, needs 10' x 4' x 6' just for a single one)
1 Firemouth
Talking catfish
Banjo Cat
Whiptail Cat
Clown pleco
Common Pleco (Tank isn't big enough long term it needs a 6fter)
Bala Shark (Needs at least a 6fter long term. At the mo it's still a reasonable size for the tank but will need re-hoiming)

Your tank is VERY overstocked longterm, but short term there are fish in there which just aren't compatible with eachother. And on top of that stocklist in your profile I can see swordtails which makes me think you've added more fish? I can see the filtration is external so presumably it's able to cope for now. But you really need to address your stocking. I'm not saying this to be harsh in anyway, but because as it stands you're setting yourself up for a fall. And when things start going back (normally due to bad advise from fish shops and possibly not researching beforehand), people get bored/fed up with keeping fish. Yet it doesn't have to be that way, it's easy to have a stunning low maintenance tank which you can really enjoy and be proud of.

wow, that tank is pretty crowded huh! the cigar shark looks like it will bang its face if it gets any kind of speed up :(

time for a rethink :/

I like the look of the tank, only thing i'd do is add a few more plants, some tall ones but that's just personal preference. If the OP likes it as it is then that's the important thing

Also Curiosity i was wondering what that fish in your Avatar pic is?

my tanks a 67 gallon tank i wouldnt over stock..the silver shark will only grow 6 to 8"...i dont do plastic i buy new plants every week thank you very much...the cigar shark is only in there for a short while i rescued it he is only 6"... silver dollars are ok living in 2 or 3s as my uncle has a pair that have been togethr for a few years...theyre not comet goldfish there just red sword tails they grow the same size as mollies..a 4ft tank for a severum is just fine...and the same for silver dollars..the common pleco needs a minimum of 55gallons my fish are all community fish and get on rather well

Sorry to tell you.

But severums need 75 gallon Minium. Even if you remove the Silvershark i still think your overstocked

i like it, i dont think its overstocked some people get lucky and can do things other people cant get away with. (like keeping two fish that kill eachother.) nice tank.

Lady Sevrum - In short, you're wrong. I know it may be hard to hear, and I totally believe that you wouldn't intentionally overstock...the matter of the fact is that long term it is. I could go into detail prooving it...but I'll start with simply correcting the size you think bala sharks will grow to...you say 6-8"...

The first 5 links from google:
Bala Shark 16"
Bala Shark 15"
Bala Shark 14-16"
Bala Shark 14"
Bala Shark 14"

And I'm also not going just by what I've read, I've seen them fully grown.

your tank is totally unsuitable for the fish you have chosen to keep.... the "thankyou very much" attitude wont get you far in this hobby.. no you didnt ask for advice, you posted a pic in a part of the forum where people are likely to discuss and comment on the tank
blink.gif

i think its really arrogant when good, free advice is offered and it just gets thrown back in the faces of the people that give up time to dish it out- think you`ll find if one person talks crap, he/she will get pulled on it.. as has happend in your case
anyway good luck with the fish.. you WILL need it
