A lovely fish, but one I feel should be sold with a large warning sign on their tanks in the shops. How many times do you go into a lfs and see these with no info on exactly how big they get and how to keep them properly?

so true mate mine is going to the blue reef aquqruim soon though soon as he gets a bit bigger i think all fish should be sold with the correct info its not hard to label WARNING will outgrow your tank no mater what size tank you have lmao

very true, was in manchester a couple of weeks ago and went into a fish store and they had about 4 rtc's about 4 inch and 39.99 each. nice fish, nice price, but thats all it said on the tank! it is right that they should give all the relevant information to potential buyers. they dont give the info as they know for a fact they would not sell half as many if the customer knew what they was buying. i would love one and i am hoping to get my 8 footer set up and running soon but i still dont think this would be big enough for an adult rtc so i shall admire them in shops and windows lol

agreed mate how much money would they be set to lose if they did warn people over the fish they where getiing as half of a lfs stock returns back to the lfs free because the owners didnt find out any info on the livestock making it hard for them to keep becuase of there size or aggression so its all good for some lfs in regards to big and aggressive fish
