I think my female guppy has got swim bladder ( from what i have read on here ) she's up in the corner behind the filter on her own with a very swolen stomach ( but she's not pregnant ) and she's been there for two days now and no really eating either . Is there anything i can do for her ? is itswim bladder ? :dunno:

she seems to be a bit better today , she's hiding under the bogwood . But she was'nt gasping just fat looking and staying by her self and not eating either . She is still not eating and is by herself but is hiding at the bottom now . Any ideas ?

If she's not eating that's not a good sign, can she maintain her balance in the water, it will be hard to try her on shelled peas if she's not eating, if you can issolate her i would medicate her with an internal bacteria med, but it's not sounding to good i'm afraid.

she's hanging around , hiding with my pregnant female now neither of them are eating ! Does this mean she's about to give birth and she's just supporting her or does it mean something horrible ? I think i will put them both in the fry tank waiting for her anyway and just hope everything is ok .

If her pregnancy is fairly progressed it could be that the fry are resting on the swim bladder causing swim bladder sysmtoms, she might be ok once she has her babies, good luck, hope it is the case.
