Aftter many years of pumping my tank my filter wont pump {aquael for a four foot tank} so i got a cheap one from peak aq does any one know how many tome a filter needs to turn the water over for a 4 foot tank with ten fish in also the only filter i have left is a ext project filter but that pumps 1000 ltr an hour any ideas

Its normally around four times the capacity an hour.....so if its a 100 litre tank you need a pump that turns over 400 lt per hour...

Yep 3-4 volume an hour - though what the pump states is its maximum...
