i have been treating my tank for ich...my female betta is the only one who shows the white spots. her anal fin is starting to fray a little and she has become leathargic. i upped the temp to 82, treated with ich meds and have been changing about 25% every other day. what should i do? i heard you could do a salt bath, but i don't know how?!?!?!
i also have a single endler in a hospital tank theat i have upped the temp and added salt to. i don't know if he has ich though, because his one spot looks different than hers.
they were never in the same tank, so i don't think they are related...should i move her to the hospital? :dunno:
any and all help is greatly appreciated!!

hi newfishies

I've had many encounters and not one fish has ever died to it. Hopefully you'll have my luck! All I did was increase the temp to about 83-84 and then I just let it sit for a few days and it went away within a very short day or so. When did you first notice the disease? But it seems to me that you've done all the right things! good luck :)

she is now hovering towards the top of the tank with her tail higher than her head...this doesn't look good to me...

update-
i put her in a breeding net overnight. she is just sitting at the top of the water and her gills are "gasping" for air. any advice???? :(

well, sorry to say, satine didn't make it. i came home on my lunch break to check on her and she was belly-up in the tank. i hope the others will be okay :rip:

I'm sorry you lost her. What were you treating the ich with? (what meds besides upping the temp.)

Ohh im sorry to hear about that newfishies,

R.I.P. little girl :byebye: Good luck with the others

i was using wardley's ich med... i didn't add any salt b/c of my corys. i raised the temp to 82 (my heater is old...i nedd a new one). oh well, at least the rest of the fish seem okay.
