hi peep.
can somebody help me? my tropical fish in my 2foot tank keep disapearing into thin air thay havent jumped out but i cant find them anywhere in the tank either.

i have 3 assourted guppies 5 platties/swordtails 10 neons

You're sure they aren't behind the tank or in the filter?

They might be dying and getting eaten... They seem to disintegrate after dying.

i use a undergravel filter and i have empted the whole tank and just left the fish in there i also keep a lid on the tank so thay cant jump.

I was talking with a guy who owns a fish shop and uses (swears by them) UGF's and he told me that there is so much bacteria in the UGF that when a fish dies the bacteria just eat it up.

Not sure about what gaya said, but if that's the case, then disintegration is still my take on it. :D
Tell us if any other fish go missing after taking everything out.

I know I'm not making sense today (head cold). I mean disintegration as well...into the UGF by the beneficial bacteria.
