Hey im new to this Forum
i have just brought this nice fire eel i have had it for about 3weeks now
he eats fine and swims around fine but 2day he dont seem himself
i just looked at him and he has lost 1 of his fliper i was wondering if any1
knows if it will grow back or not

they will repair if damaged but it wont grow back if the whole fins gone. what do you think happened. do you have a pic?

hey i have had a better look and it seems like he has still has his flipper its just a bit riped
think he got in a bit of a fight with my parrot fish even no he is in a 6x2x2ft tank with only the parrot fish

parrot fish as you know have deformed mouths and arent really capable of doing much damage to other fish. this case seems far too severe for the parrot fish. maybe you have sharp objects/edges in your tank?

it could b the bit of bogwood i have put in there i have taken it out now
i was goin 2 put some more fish as some1 has offered me a
albino Oscar
2 red shoulder Severums
1 Gold Severum
4 Plecos
1 upside down catfish

dont no if i want them cos i dont want him 2 get beaten up
