I have recently bought 3 sucking catfish and one is starting to turn a yellowish orange which started at its head and has recently spread to just passed its gills. The other 2 i got have grown a decent amount but this one has remained the same size. I have also noticed its starting to lose a few of its scales.

does anyone know whats wrong with it, or if its normal?
or if it can affect any of my other fish.

What kind of fish is it. Sucker mouth can mean a lot .

um, i'm not 100% sure. at the shop i got them from it only said sucking catfish.

that is just a colormorph of CAE, and by the way, they are not catfish but cyprinid...

i had a look over google and its not one of those fish, he is a sucking catfish.

looks like a chinese alge eater to me.
orange/yellowish is one of there color morphs
